RULES
- “Knight of Illumination Awards” are open to UK -based Rock LDs with a show performing in the UK between September 2009 and May 2010.
- The applications for any UK based Rock LD’s work that you feel merits nomination for this year's awards can be made by anyone in the Rock ‘n’ Roll industry including:
- Directly by UK-based LDs
- By UK Rental Companies
- By LDs sponsors
- By any member of a Production Team
GENERAL RULES
- You can submit a show by filling in the details requested in the SUBMISSION form.
- You will receive an email with your password and a link to confirm your submission.
- You can then access the UPLOAD reserved area, where the material related
to the show must be uploaded for the evaluation by the jury.
- More than one show can be nominated, even by the same lighting designer. If you want to nominate another show,
then go back to the SUBMISSION area and fill in the data requested using a new username.
LIST OF MATERIALS REQUIRED BY 31st of May 2010
- Details of where and when the show can be seen.
- Information and details on the show
- A statement as to why you feel the design worthy of nomination
- An explanation of any constraints in time and budget
- Links (show web site, video and online press-release)
- Design files (lighting plan, visual materials, 3D lighting project)
- Images of the show – min. 5 JPG
- Low-resolution movie of the show - e.g. WMV, MPG1, MOV
- High-resolution movie, 30 seconds, selected highlights of the show. MPEG2 PAL - DVD quality - 16:9 preferred
